Services for New Ventures

The Current Brand System™

You're launching something real. You need a brand system that positions you to compete from day one.

8 weeks: Strategy → Identity → Copywriting → Website → Collateral

Book Discovery Call

The Problem

You get one chance to make a first impression.

You're launching something you believe in. You've got the expertise, the business plan, maybe even your first customers lined up. But you know that in today's market, you'll be judged instantly based on how you look online.

Here's what you're up against:

  • Customers won't give you a "startup pass." They expect professionalism from day one

  • You're competing with established brands for the same customers, and they have years of credibility and polished brands (or they don’t, and you have a golden opportunity!)

  • A DIY brand will undermine your credibility before you even get to prove yourself

  • You don't have time to learn graphic design, web development, and copywriting while launching your business

You could piece together a DIY brand and "fix it later." But later means rebuilding from scratch, confusing early customers, and losing deals you should have won.

Or you could launch right and compete from day one.

The Solution

The Current Brand System™ gives you a complete, professional brand before you open your doors.

Over eight weeks, we handle the strategy, design, copywriting, and web development that would take you months to figure out on your own, or 4-6 months through a traditional agency. You get our full attention. When we're working on your brand, we're not splitting focus across a dozen other projects.

The result? You launch looking like an established player, not a startup. Because your customers don't care that you're new: they care whether you can deliver.

8 weeks: Strategy → Identity → Copywriting → Website → Launch & Collateral

When strategy, identity, copywriting, and website work together, you get a brand that competes with bigger players, looks as professional as the service you deliver, and converts visitors into customers 24/7.

  • Weeks 1-2: Brand Strategy (20 hours)

  • Weeks 3-4: Visual Identity (20 hours)

  • Week 5: Strategic Copywriting (10 hours)

  • Weeks 6-7: Website Design & Development (20 hours)

  • Week 8: Website Launch + Marketing Collateral (10 hours)

  • Post-Launch: 2 weeks email support (included)

How It Works

THE FOUNDATION: BRAND STRATEGY (Weeks 1-2)

Most small businesses are winging it: posting randomly, changing their message based on mood, and wondering why marketing feels so hard. Brand strategy is the difference between guessing and knowing exactly what to say, where to say it, and why it works.

What You Get:

  • A clear differentiator you can use in every sales conversation, website, and pitch

  • Know exactly who you're talking to so you stop wasting money marketing to everyone

  • Consistent messaging across all touchpoints so customers recognize you instantly

  • Defined brand personality and voice so you (and your team) never second-guess how to communicate

  • Strategic direction for all marketing decisions; no more starting from scratch every time

  • Confidence to charge what you're worth

  • A roadmap that prevents costly rebrands and mixed messages down the road

How We Get There:

20 hours of research and strategy development including:

📊 Customer Research

  • 3-5 customer interviews (if applicable)

  • Customer surveys (if applicable)

  • Review mining across your business and competitors

🔍 Competitive Intelligence

  • 5-8 competitor website audits

  • Mystery shopping (calling/emailing as a potential customer)

  • Market positioning analysis

📈 Strategic Development

  • Brand positioning framework

  • Messaging hierarchy

  • Voice and personality guidelines

  • Target audience profiles

  • What You Do:

    • Participate in a 90-minute strategy session (up to 3 stakeholders)

    • Share customer contact info for interviews (if applicable)

    • Provide access to existing materials (past marketing, sales decks, website analytics)

    • Answer follow-up questions as they come up

    What We Do:

    Customer & Market Research:

    • Conduct 3-5 customer interviews to understand why they chose you, what they value, and how they describe you to others (if applicable)

    • Send customer surveys to identify patterns in satisfaction, perception, and decision factors (if applicable)

    • Mine reviews (yours and competitors') to find recurring themes and language customers actually use

    • Map the customer journey to identify where prospects drop off or get confused

    Competitive Intelligence:

    • Audit 5-8 competitor websites for messaging, positioning, and visual approach

    • Mystery shop competitors (call/email as a potential customer) to experience their sales process and talking points

    • Analyze competitor social media, content, and marketing materials to understand their strategy

    • Create competitive positioning map showing where opportunities exist in the market

    Market & Industry Analysis:

    • Research category conventions to identify what's table stakes vs. differentiating

    • Study aspirational brands (companies larger than you doing this well) for strategic patterns you can adapt

    • Identify industry trends affecting how customers make buying decisions

    • Analyze pricing strategies and market positioning across the competitive landscape

    Internal Discovery:

    • Review existing brand materials, website analytics, and sales collateral to understand what's working

    • Interview you (and key team members if applicable) about origin story, strengths, and oversights

    • Analyze your sales process to understand where messaging breaks down or where deals are won/lost

    Strategic Synthesis & Deliverables:

    • Develop brand positioning statement articulating your unique market position

    • Create messaging hierarchy (what to say, how to say it, proof points for each claim)

    • Define target audience profiles with specific pain points, motivations, and buying behaviors

    • Build brand voice and personality guidelines so all communication feels consistent

    • Document strategic direction for all future marketing decisions

The ROI: Without this, you're building a house without blueprints.

You'll spend more fixing mistakes, confusing customers, and redoing work than you would have spent getting clear upfront.

This strategy becomes the foundation that makes everything else—your website, ads, content—work harder for you.

Start with the brand assessment to diagnose what's holding your brand back, then book a discovery call to explore how we can fix it.

VISUAL IDENTITY: BRINGING STRATEGY TO LIFE (Weeks 3-4)

Your strategy is clear. Now we make it visible. Visual identity is how your strategy shows up in the real world: the colors, typography, logo, and design system that make customers recognize you before they even read a word.

What You Get:

  • A logo system that works across every application (business cards to billboards)

  • Strategic color palette that signals your positioning and differentiates you from competitors

  • Typography system that's professional, readable, and distinctly yours

  • Brand guidelines so you (and future designers) always know how to use your identity correctly

  • Application examples showing your identity in action across touchpoints

  • Confidence that your brand looks as professional as the service you deliver

How We Get There:

    What We Do:

    Logo Development:

    • Design primary logo with strategic intent (what does the visual communicate?)

    • Create logo variations for different applications (horizontal, stacked, icon-only)

    • Develop logo lockups for co-branding or tagline integration

    • Test logo across sizes (from favicon to billboard) to ensure versatility

    • Provide logo files in all necessary formats (vector, PNG, white/black versions)

    Color Palette Development:

    • Select primary and secondary colors with strategic reasoning (not arbitrary preference)

    • Define color psychology and how each color supports your positioning

    • Create extended palette for digital and print applications

    • Document when and how to use color

    Typography System:

    • Select typefaces that balance professionalism with personality

    • Ensure web and print compatibility

    • Provide font licensing and implementation details

    Brand Guidelines:

    • Document logo usage rules (dos and don'ts)

    • Provide color specifications (RGB, CMYK, HEX, Pantone)

    • Typography specifications with hierarchy and pairing rules

    • Design element usage guidelines

    • Application examples across business cards, letterhead, social media, website

    • Incorrect usage examples to prevent future mistakes

    • Create photography style guidelines

The ROI: A strong visual identity isn't decoration.

It's a business tool. It makes you recognizable, builds trust instantly, and ensures every dollar you spend on marketing works harder because your brand is consistent and memorable across every touchpoint.

Start with the brand assessment to diagnose what's holding your brand back, then book a discovery call to explore how we can fix it.

    About Page Copywriting:

    SEO Optimization:

    • Structure content with proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3)

    Conversion Optimization:

    • Place CTAs strategically throughout each page

    • Write CTAs that are clear and action-oriented

    • Address objections before visitors think of them

The ROI: Strategic copy is the difference between a website that gets compliments and one that gets customers.

The right words, in the right order, at the right moment can be the difference between "I'll think about it" and "Let's do this."

Start with the brand assessment to diagnose what's holding your brand back, then book a discovery call to explore how we can fix it.

Common Questions

  • The investment is approximately $20,000 based on 80 hours of work. After our discovery call, I'll create a custom proposal based on your specific needs. Some businesses need a bit more, some need a bit less. I don't give you things you don't need.

  • Ideally, 3-4 months before your planned launch. This gives us 8 weeks for the brand work plus time for you to handle other launch activities.

  • That's what the 2-week strategy phase is for. We'll figure it out together based on your goals and market.

  • Your brand style guide is flexible enough to accommodate evolution. We're building a professional foundation, not boxing you in.

  • You should have clarity on your target market, service/product offering, and pricing. We can discuss this in the discovery call.

  • We can discuss additional pages in your custom proposal. Most new businesses find 6 pages (Home, About, Services, Portfolio/Work, Contact, plus 1 additional) sufficient to start.

  • Yes, I work with clients nationally and internationally. Everything is handled remotely. That said, if you prefer to have in-person worksessions or need on-location support, I happily travel as needed.

  • Yes, check out my case studies and video work reel.
