Our Work | Better Place
Three brands into two. Two web builds. One launch live in under 100 days.
A capable team, a hard deadline, and no one who was 100% sure what was actually happening. Every conversation started with "I think this is where we are": the most expensive sentence in any launch.
Better Place was consolidating three entities into two brands: two domains, two full web builds, one launch window. The team had the talent and was already making the brand, design, and development calls. What they didn't have was certainty: nobody was 100% on anything, and the whole build was running on "I think."
Our role was to remove that ambiguity: to align the team around a single shared process, define the exact steps to execute, and hold the sequence so two builds and a complex migration could ship on a tight timeline. We brought the clarity that let the people who did move fast without colliding, and the whole thing came together in under 100 days.
Scope: Discovery & Ambiguity Audit → Team Alignment on Process → Launch Sequencing & Dependency Mapping → CRM / Migration Guidance → Decision Cadence → Quality Control & Advisory
We sequenced a build that was mostly dependencies.
We ran a fast discovery and audit, not of the brand, which the team owned, but of the process: what had actually been decided, what only looked decided, who owned what, and what was silently blocking what.
Then we turned it into one shared plan every person worked from. A real operating document with clear owners, confirmed decisions, and a step-by-step order of execution. It replaced a dozen private versions of the truth with a single one, so the whole team was finally aligned on the same picture of what happens next.
We sequenced a build that was mostly dependencies.
This is where a launch is won or lost, and where the timeline pressure was sharpest. We mapped the order the work had to happen in and protected it week to week: the CRM instances had to be consolidated and priced before any build could start; forms couldn't be mapped until the team locked a simplified version; the event-registration data had to migrate last, because moving it mid-event risked losing live sign-ups; the domain needed an SEO review before it could be locked; every legacy URL needed a redirect map so years of search authority survived the move; and a video channel wired to the nonprofit's workspace couldn't follow the brand without being lost. None of these are glamorous. All of them sink a launch if they happen in the wrong order. Naming them early, assigning owners, and holding the sequence is the difference between a migration and a data-loss incident.
We held the cadence and hit the window.
We cleared the blockers that would have stalled the build, and gave technical and process guidance as the work came in, so nothing got built in the wrong direction and caught too late. Two brands launched, clearly distinct, on two separate builds, with years of search equity carried across rather than lost. Start to finish in under 100 days.
Some launches don't need another builder. They need someone to remove the doubt and hold the sequence.
If you're launching something with real complexity: multiple brands, migrations, a hard date, a capable team already moving fast, the thing most likely to sink you isn't talent. It's ambiguity: decisions that feel made but aren't, and work happening in the wrong order. That's the partner we can be: the one who aligns the team on a single process, maps the dependencies, and stays accountable for the sequence from the first decision to launch and beyond. If that's what your next launch needs, let's talk.
Your mission is one of a kind. Your brand should be unmistakable.
Every engagement starts with a thirty-minute discovery call.
We’ll have a real conversation about what you're building and whether we're the right partner to build it.
